Yury specialises in both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to cross-border transactions, including trade operations, transportation and logistics, as well as joint ventures with foreign parties.

Yury has extensive experience with international carriage by sea and land, including project cargo, multimodal carriage, supporting freight forwarding, and warehouse logistics. His expertise includes both assisting with carriage and disputes over lost and damaged cargo. Yury has represented parties and insurers.
Yury regularly represents clients before Russian courts, including the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Yury handled several landmark cases involving customs authorities. Yury also has experience in international arbitration, primarily relating to machinery, carriage of goods, and trade operations.  

Before Dumler and Partners, Yury was chief in-house counsel of a major Russian equipment manufacturer for the oil and gas sector for several years.

Yury also heads the firm’s Frenchdesk.
