Drafted a consortium agreement between a Russian and a Dutch company for a project to build Russia’s newest long-distance cruise ships.
The consortium agreement was governed by Russian law and addressed many issues, e.g., the participants’ responsibilities, cooperation and liability to the customer, the joint venture’s financial performance, currency and treasury control, and intellectual property matters. Our mandate also included assisting with the document package following the customer’s tender requirements.
The project’s first ship, the MS Mustai Karim, was built in 2020
